It prints and spits out the pages in seconds (while other machines are warming up). Great Amazon seller.
Despite my attempts to inform Amazon of the mistake, the price remains the same. I have two, because of their reliability and desire to use a common toner cartridge, I opted to purchase my third HP 1022 for my daughter who is headed for school this fall. The HP LaserJet 1022 is a reliable, and until recently a low cost work horse. I opted for Craigslist and found a nearly new one for $30. The HP 1022 is no longer being made but imagine my surprise when I discovered the printer for $799.99 at Amazon. I purchased my other two HP 1022 printers new for less than $150 each. Bottom line- the printer is great but no worth $799.99 under any circumstances. I am loyal to Amazon and always default to them when the competitors price is about the same, but this level of capitalism is extreme and insulting.
On the second side it will just randomly lose a page and completely ruin the order of the rest. I have had this printer for about 1.5 years now. I've had to reprint about half of each chapter. I take online classes with digital books, so most of them I print out. I don't think I've gone once without this printer messing up the duplexing. I end up needing to print one set of pages at a time to narrow down the one graphic that seems to be messing the batch up. I'm almost done with school, then this thing is getting beat down in a field somewhere.
HP Printers, especially the 1020 series such as the 1022 are very reliable printers and are great quality. The instructions to install are easy and HP has great support.
The good:- fast printing- good resolution- small footprint- mac compatibleThe bad:- loud- small manual feed capacityOverall, i would definitely purchase this product again.
